"WHITE TRUFFLE OIL"
Kitchen stuff is so colorful. I was recently introduced to the wonderful flavor and aroma of truffle oil. Since I couldn't find (or afford for that matter) real truffles, I placed a couple of white mushrooms next to the bottle.

- I was raised as a nomad (dad was in the Air Force), then married my high school sweetheart (still a nomad, husband became physicist in AF). Settled in North Carolina on a farm (after AF career) with our family of 3 kids, a few horses, many dogs and 2 cats (as well as wildlife that comes from all directions to dine at the birdfood buffet). My husband is now a physics professor, and I am working to build my business as an artist. For more years than I would like to admit (actually decades), I have sold horse,dog,landscape and still life paintings(many were commissions). I began drawing even before I started to take riding lessons(at age 8 ). I am mostly a self taught artist, though I majored in art (U of CO, CO Springs). My style hovers between traditional and contemporary realism. I enjoy detail, but I also admire the looseness of painterly work. Having a blog will be very challenging to me, but I'll try to keep it going.
